longtime NUT user with APC ups units..just installed GE LP33..how to get it configured?
I have used NUT for many years to monitor our network connected UPS units...until recently they were all APC units. We replaced an old APC Silcon datacenter ups with a GE LP33 unit. It has a network card for web access and snmp support. How do I configure NUT to talk to the LP33 UPS unit? Thank you. -Bob -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Radeon 4800 or Ati in general viable for wine?
Longtime lurker and user of wine, but I'm about to replace my old nvidia card with a newer model and seeing as Ati is open sourcing their drivers. I was wondering if I should get a 4800 card, but only if the fglrx or x86-radeon driver is up to the task :) Like can it run direct3d 9 games like Eve? How...

Dovecot Oy merger with Open-Xchange AG
To Timo and the Dovecot guys - congratulations! I'm sure this merger with OpenXchange is going to provide you with a lot of resources and opportunities. As a longtime user of dovecot, I do have a few concerns. I wonder if you can answer some questions for me. You say that OpenXchange really likes open source and shares your plans for the future. Is this a commitment that future versions core dovecot product will remain free and truly open source? According...

Danish callerid on a x100p card
Hi I've got a cheap card from x100p.com for my pots line. I haven't found a definate answer if it is possible to get danish(DTMF without signaling before it). I have had a look at bug #9 but that is written longtime ago. I am running zaptel 1.4.7 and asterisk 1.4.14 BRIstuffed 0.4.0-test4 both from the xorcom debian packages. I believe they should contain some kind functionality for DTMF cid, but I can't get it to work. I recorded the line with ztmonitor and can hear that the DTMF is on the line before r...

Call a script after every file modification
...y time a file is modified via smbd, e.g. a user is adding a file via samba share? The script should get also the filename too :-) The intended purpose is to duplicate the write operations of samba to another disk. Yes I know there exists RAID and Rsync and other software, but I want to use it for longtime archiving purposes, therefore RAID lacks data corruption features and needs many disks and Rsync and others are not realtime enough to duplicate the modifications on a other disk. Script would be fine because I don't think that I'm able to write a hack for that. I'm web developer not...

Kernel Panic at Boot
Hi All, This is a Centos 6.4 system used as a home server and Myth backend machine. It has just suffered a motherboard failure and I have got a identical replacement. This machine normally runs in run level 3. It has a NVidia graphics card and the NVidia driver installed but I found it crashed the machine as soon as I started X on there. So I never bothered with X and left it in RL3. So as

[LLVMdev] [IMPORTANT] Mailing list Move & Downtime (Tuesday, August 4th)
...bers will be transferred to the new server. There is no need to re-sign up for lists. The old lists will reject mail once the move begins. Our goal is to transfer all existing archives as well. The mailing lists are currently hosted at the University of Illinois and we want to thank them for their longtime support. UIUC has planned to move all its lists to a new campus mail server, and we have wanted to change the domain name for our lists, so this was a good time to make the change. If you have any questions or comments, please make sure to CC me on your response. Thank you, Tanya Lattner -------...

Hello Jeremy & Keir, sorry to be persistent, but the problem that pvops0 kernel 2.6.32.x still does not boot if x > 18 on my machines (and on many other machines, see this mailing list) is not solved yet. Shouldn''t this be a great focus of debugging and fixing? What is the point of having releases for 4.0.2 or 4.1 if I don''t have a dom0 kernel? The last time I tried
