insufficient fix for gcc localised output in stubdom makefile
Hello. There was a slight change in stubdom makefile from 3.3 to 3.3.1, in order to use non-localised gcc output: GCC_INSTALL = $(shell LANG=C gcc -print-search-dirs | sed -n -e ''s/install: \(.*\)/\1/p'') However, this is still unsuffient to just set LANG: [guillomovitch@n2 xen]$ LANG=C gcc -print-search-dirs | sed -n -e ''s/install: \(.*\)/\1/p'' At least on

Hi Folks, Well, it has only been more than 6 weeks and still no response to my "No localisation for rsync?" topic. :( So far, I have determined that there are at least 4 files that need translations for rsync. They are the following. main.c flist.c log.c progress.c For my initial test I only made the following modifications. main.c ------ I added the following line ... #include

No Localisation for rsync?
Hi Folks, There are no Localisation features incorporated in the rsync code, from what I can see, and hence no Language Translation files. I see pertinent strings, in the "main.c" (output_summary function) and "flist.c" files, which are used by the rprintf function. I could use xgettext with "rprintf" as the function search parameter to produce a .pot file. Are

Hello, is there anyway or any plan to have the date/time stamp that's printed in an outgoing voicemail notification email to NOT be the date/time of the (*) machine but infact correspond to the timezone set for the subscriber under the TZ variable? I have the (*) machine set to UTC and when the notification email goes out, it prints out the date/time of the machine at which the voicemail was

Psssst. The US is asleep - let's talk intern ationalization !!!
And let's also spell things properly! Like 'internationalisation' ...'Weasels have got into your phone system' instead of 'gotten into your phone system...' And 'please press the hash key..' instead of 'pound key' There should probably be en_uk, en_us, en_ca, en_za, en_nz, en_oz, en_ie and en_in etc to allow each English-speaking country to localise

public key authentication failure
Hello, I am attempting to make public key authentication to work between OpenSSH 3.0.2 client on OpenBSD and SSH-1.99-OpenSSH_2.9 FreeBSD localisations 20011202. From reading sshd -ddd and ssh -v I can't figure out what goes wrong. Could somebody interpret the attached typescripts for me, please? Here's the relevant part from the server log and I don't understand it: debug2:

Smart localisation
Hi, I have some trouble using Il8n. I''ve had these problems for a while now and always used rough workarounds, but as my productivity needs to go up another notch, I was wondering whether there was any way of avoiding these workarounds. For example: When I''m inside a view (say ''home/index'') and use t(''title''), I''d like Rails to know

I only need to get access to to corresponding sourcecode. I localised the "RDX" and "RDB" files. But it seems to be a binary format. How can I convert it to an ASCII format to open and extract the code from a text

Question about Salted Hash Login Generator
Hi, I am using salted hash login generator to create my login page. In the user_environment.rb file, I saw that there is a comment saying should NOT include the email field in the changeable user fields array. Does anyone know why? > # Add all changeable user fields to this array. > # They will then be able to be edited from the edit action. You > # should NOT include the

bug? in making security/isakmpd
Hi! There is a little problem in the security/isakmpd port. There are some gen*.sh scripts in it, which generate some C header (and src) files. These scripts are using awk, tr, etc - some generic UNIX tools. One of the tools has problems with some localisations, so these scripts generate incorrect C-code. Eg, I have Hungarian localisation set, so I have the following in my environ:

''Implicit'' subselection of data in find?

I''d hate to reinvent the wheel if I can avoid it (and rediscover all the gotchas that someone has already found). I''m writing a rails app that I''d like to use to service a number of different websites out of

Modeling the trend and eliminate it
Hi, I would like to eliminate the trend of a set localised (with x an y) data. I try to fit a linear model to the data: mod.01 <- lm(ff~x+y) I've got so a model.
