Page hit counter?
...: - It is possibility to set a constant timespan (say 5 hours). - On every page hit, save away @request.remote_ip and Time.new - The counter gets incremented only if the same IP was here longer ago than the constant Of course this is trivial to do, but just in case there is something like this, LMK (i have been googling for it but did not find anything relevant - how should i look for such stuff in the future?) TIA, Peter

LDAP issues
...uthenticate the user? So the user could use the testuser login via the windoze login and drive mapping processes, but Samba would actually use testuser at mydomain.com to actually authenticate? All these accounts are already in use in the LDAP directory, and so the uid cannot be changed. lmk if there's anything else needed here... I'm willing to share configs, command outputs, etc. to get this solved. TIA! ---------------- Alex Moen Network Services Technician II North Dakota Telephone Company 701-662-6481

[hybrid]: unable to boot hvm due to eflags.ID
Hi guys, At a loss trying to figure why if (has_eflag(X86_EFLAGS_ID)) returns false in my HVM domU. Standard function has_eflag() in cpucheck.c running in real mode. Works fine on PV dom0, but fails when guest is booting on my hybrid dom0. LMK if any ideas. I''ll keep digging in the manuals, but nothing so far. thanks, Mukesh

I would suggest > looking at the ipmimonitoring-sensors.c file. > indeed, that's what I understood. as told above, I just got to check libdetect for PSU identification, then everything should be alright. [LLVMdev] Verifying unwind info/debugging a crash in _Unwind_Backtrace() on OSX
...an_report_error), but then crashes. Is there a way to check whether the unwind info is correct? Could this be a bug in the system implementation of _Unwind_Backtrace, which probably should not crash in the middle of a valid stack trace? Thanks in advance for any pointers, Alexander Potapenko PS. LMK if this is an offtopic for LLVMdev.

Streaming Considerations.
Hey, I'm not sure if this should be in -dev or not, so I'll post it here first. If that's wrong, LMK and I'll post it there. I have a friend who's running an online radio station, well, group of stations, actually. They're stuck in the .ra format, which I personally think sucks rocks. MP3 has a lot of flack surrounding it these days, as well as the problems that the RIAA doesn'...

xen debugger (kdb/xdb/hdb) patch for c/s 25467
Hi Guys, Thanks for the interest in the xen hypervisor debugger, prev known as kdb. Btw. I''m gonna rename it to xdb for xen-debugger or hdb for hypervisor debugger. KDB is confusing people with linux kdb debugger and I often get emails where people think they need to apply linux kdb patch also... Anyways, attaching patch that is cleaned up of my debug code that I accidentally left in

The high-level design looks a lot better. I have a number of comments on the implementation details. I didn't really like the way that opus_head_projection_parse() turned out. I was originally thinking something more generic/fut...
