problem with batch mode:
Hi!
I try to use batch mode to send only the difference between two packed CDs
by email over a slow line.
I create the diff with:

where

New Head Appears to Break SIP to iConnect
Folks,
I have to admit that I MAY have changed something (at someone's
advice) on a previous CVS head (May 28), but I'm not sure. I think that
it had to do with changing "digest realm," but that may be a different
issue. At any rate, I had both incoming and outgoing with iConnectHere.
Now, I made exactly ONE change: I upgraded to the CVS head
dated 7/30. I

Failover Trunking Won't Fail Over
Hello, all.
In section 4.3.10 of the Asterisk Handbook, there is an example of an
LCR/Failover Trunking scenario. I've tried it, and it works, as long as
I fail over from something else to ZAP, but I can't get it to "hunt" to
the other context if the zapata channel (or group) is used first.
Can anyone help? Here is my extensions.conf, and the error message I
get.

PATCH: log key fingerprint upon successful login
This patch is against 3.0.2p1. It produces output like the first line in the
example below for both v1 and v2 logins. Logging is turned on by sticking
``LogFingerprint yes'' in sshd_conf. It would be nice if something like this
would make it into OpenSSH.

Trailing commas [best practice survey]
I''m sure everyone has read and committed the Puppet Best Practice to memory
by now (I joke). One of the things I''ve written in there deals with
trailing commas, which I adopted from the way I used to do multiline in
Perl, but I''ve noticed that most people don''t tend to do that in Puppet.
Should I revise this or should we all start using the trailing commas?

that I do have a random variable as well as a group

nfe driver 6.2 stable
Hi I installed the following driver.
http://www.f.csce.kyushu-u.ac.jp/~shigeaki//software/freebsd-nfe.html
Before I had the nve driver which was unstable on this server and on a
prior server in both cases causing either spontaneous reboot or just a
crash when under load.
So far touchwood the nfe driver has stayed up and running at almost 3
days uptime and has had some stress.
I know the driver

Lets try this push again.. 2.5.1p2 bugs left.
Things that are still outstanding:
1) Solaris/Redhat/HPUX session.c patch. I've not seen a ya or na on
Kevin's pam patch from the Solaris group.
2) Odd Redhat/Debian scp/ssh issues. .. I'm baffled, and I can't
replicate the bug. Nor have I seen anything remotely like it reported.
3) SCO.. Is it happy yet for compiling? =)
Completed:
1) mdoc2man.pl .. Commited into

Toshiba T1910 (CS) - 'Boot failed'
Hi Everyone,
When I installed Debian Potato onto a Toshiba Satellite T1910CS
about a year and half ago using SYSLINUX everything went well. Now,
however, using SYSLINUX that comes with the bootdisk of Debian Woody
boot-up stops soon after the floppy is read with a 'Boot failed'
message.
I've received one email from someone having this trouble about six
months ago and I simply

Samba's Printer Going Off-Line (after a Win98 Machine speaks to it)
Hi,
I have a light firewall machine that also acts as a Samba print
server for a Win32 host on my intranet. For some reason, if the Win98
machine hasn't printed for an extended length of time, the printer
goes off-line. When the Win32 tries to print, the printer throws an
error and we have to unplug the printer and then plug it back in. It
then tries to finish the print job which
