...do you just not allow anymore listeners?
I just dont allow anymore listeners while current kbps (in the context
where the kbps limit applies) is >= than the maximum kbps of this context.
That solves at least my needs :)

The byte count computations could be conditioned if the max_kbps value is

Still it doesnt solve the problem I raised. With QoS you will shape by
lowering stream rates, which is something you never want for streams.

Is this code redundant ?

If there is any interest in seeing this 2 features into icecast2 I will

need a mutex on this values (kbps, kbps_time, kbps_bytes) and it seems
sock.c didnt use any yet. Whould it be a problem to use one ? (and include

Any other sugestions welcomed. Thanks!

More libshout questions
Okay,
I am using libshout to stream to a NullSoft Shoutcast server. I am
using libmad and libmp3lame to do re-encoding on the fly. I am streaming
to the server (currently) with shout_send_raw(). When I try to use
shout_metadata_add(), I get a segfault in strdup(). Anyone have any
ideas as to why? Everything else works fine, just not the metadata.
Thanks In Advance,
Deven

What would be even cooler is to see icecast2 handle certain QoS options
instead of just
rate limiting a sport a dport

include a file ?
ok, I've got yet another newbie question.
My extensions.conf is getting rather longish and I'm getting dizzy

to include a file in order to break extensions.conf up into more
manageable pieces ? Is breaking up the extension.conf file an OK thing
to do ?
Maybe something like this:

i''m falling in love with rails, but the main obstacle is digesting the huge

i know rails is in a constant state of flux, but surely there is a pdf-ized

Form.Element.getValue for checkboxes and radios?
I notice that Form.Element.getValue() takes a single element or id and
returns the element name and value. How does one handle getting the
values of checkboxes and/or radios which share the same control name,
save getting them one at a time?
