[5/5] ARM: tegra: jetson-tk1: enable GK20A GPU
Playing a bit with todays linux-next on my jetson, it seems this patch is
still required for enabling the GPU. Is there anything blocking it (firmware
not available yet in liux-firmware?)

RHEL (CentOS, Oracle Liux) kernel 2.6.32-358 does not start at XCP
Hi, everyone,
Two days ago I have filed a bug to Red Hat https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=918239
The problem is, that new RHEL-6.4's kernel 2.6.32-358 does not start at HVM on Xen Cloud Platform 1.6 (maybe, also affected XenServer 6.1)
I have tested kernels -358 from CentOS, Oracle and -356 from Red Hat both i686 and x86_64 at 2 different server hardware
The sympthoms: kernel does

[syslinux:firmware] load_linux: dynamically calculate the cmdline region
...real mode code has to be at 0x90000 by
protocol.
If the kernel is loaded high, for kernel >= 2.00 the real mode code can
be anywhere... but the cmdline needs to lie inside the real-mode segment
(in particular in the range covered by setup_move_size). However, these
kernels, at least for actual Liux, would then still move stuff up to the
0x90000 segment... in large measure defeating the point of loading low.
It does it pretty late, though, so one can argue that some amount of
overwrite is probably okay. Probably.

I think initially I was waiting for the DRM patch "drm/nouvea: support
for probing platform devices" to be applied, but it looks like that's
been applied already, so only patches 4 and 5 in this series are still
outstanding.

unicode conversion
Hi,
We have windows XP and NT workstations. They are configured to support
french language.
Also we export samba 2.2.8 shares through a solaris 8 machine.
But these samba shares are NFS mounted file systems that come from a NAS
(Celerra's EMC)
In smb.conf:
- Character set parameter is not set.
- Codepage is 850
In the NAS file server the parameter is set to unicode.

3.6/SMB2.0 and NT6.0 (Vista/W2K8 not-R2) question
Hello Samba Team,
Have a W2K8 not-R2 (NT6.0) server that compiles code
served from a CentOS 5.6 server running Samba 3.5.5
over an Infiniband link.
Works nice but an 'imake' step that grinds through
every source file several times takes ten-to-twenty
times longer than when it runs locally on the Linux side.
It's apparent that the entire source tree is cached
in memory by Linux, but

How to unit test Rails itself (API)?
Hello,
I searched unit test for Rails on internet, but all the results are
for testing Rails APPLICATION generated by Rails.
But I think Rails itself needs unit test, too. I need to make sure
that all APIs/methods of Rails work fine in different scenarios.
I didn''t see any unit test files in the Rails package. Does anyone
know how to unit test Rails itself?
Thanks a lot.

[PATCH 0/5] drm/nouveau: platform devices and GK20A probing
This patch series is the final (?) step towards the initial support of GK20A,
allowing it to be probed and used (currently at a very slow speed, and for
offscreen rendering only) on the Jetson TK1 and Venice 2 boards.
The main piece if the first patch which adds platform devices probing support
to Nouveau. There are probably lots of things that need to be discussed about
it, e.g.:

Samba problem
Hi,
I have a problem connecting my Windows98 to the Samba server.
The Linux computer comes up in the "Network Neighborhood" control panel,
but when I double click on the icon, W98 asks for a password for the
"\\machine name\IPC$" resource.
But my password will not me accepted. I have logged in as user "root"
with
a given password on both computers.
