Turning root partition into a RAID array
I have a CentOS 4.2 system that was set up VERY quickly following the demise
of its former life as a CentOS 3 server - you don't want the full story, but
it had to be done quickly to get a company up and working following a slight
disaster involving an electrician, a portable appliance safety tester and a
pulled power cable - anyway, here's where I am at...
Everything is running fine but

Win Servers and Samba
Hello,
We are succesfully using Samba with a remote WINS server which is located on
another site. We have a second site which has successfully been using the
same WINS server and communicating with our Samba server.
Recently the PCs on the second site have been unable to connect to our
Samba server. The other site uses a different DHCP server to our site but it
still gives out the same

it has been delegated :| to me (chosen between other tasks).
Some orientation (and|or) readings will be great too, even while, I'll
continue reading about partitioning[3] (think my first step).
thanks in advanced for your time.

System Time - UTC and Local Time
I have installed CentOS on a VM by checking 'System Clock uses UTC' option.
Later I selected CST time zone. Now the date command shows UTC time with
CST timezone: "Thu Dec 1 04:14:39 CST 2011". How do I change system
clock to show CST local time? Also, more likely a dumb question but why
isn't date command showing UTC here instead of CST?
