Sendmail with Google Apps SMTP
I use Google Apps for my domain, hosted on a CentOS server. How could I setup my sendmail.mc to route Sendmail mails through the Gmail SMTP? Any help would be greatly appreciated. F3000 registering to asterisk
Hi, I have an F3000 phone that I am trying to register to asterisk. As far as I can tell I have everything in correct. Are there any little quirks I need to worry about? The phone has internet access, set it's time.. I can access the web config, but it just won't register with asterisk. I don't see anything meaningful in the full log.

How do I debug?
...dial out. What I can't get working is to get an SPA-3102 to 'send the calls' to Asterisk. I have the device added to the sip.conf file and it shows up in users and peers (but not in registry). Deleting file in /tmp directory
Hi, This is a bit of-topic, but since it has to do with /tmp permissions here it goes. Anyway, I'm sorry in advance for posting this. I have this PHP script (simplificated here), called delete_tmp.php that basically calls external commands: <?php $session_file = '/tmp/sess_89765' system(''rm -f' . ' ' . $session_file); ?> delete_tmp.php file is owned by

Best Cluster Storage
...ng for ideas to see what's the best out there. All of this will be running on multiple Xen hosts, however I don't think that matters as long as I make sure that the cluster nodes are on different physical boxes. Here are my ideas so far for the central storage: 1) NFS Server using DRBD+LinuxHA. Export the same NFS share to each mail server. Which this seems easy, how well does Dovecot work with NFS? I've read the wiki page, and it doesn't sound promising. But it may be outdated.. 2) Export block storage using iSCSI from targets which have GFS2 on DRBD+LinuxHA. This is tricky...

Configuring sendmail in a corporate environment
I have a stock CentOS 5 system as far as email (sendmail) is concerned that is on our corporate LAN. I am not trying to set up a mail server; I merely want our CentOS systems to be able to send out emails. This works as long as the recipient's domain is our local domain. Any email send to recipients that are not in our local domain get stuck in the queue: # mailq

Strange ! characters inserted into emails
I have never encountered anything like this before, so thought I'd post here and see if anyone can help. We have a java application that sends out notification emails to end-users. The body of the email is some boilerplate text and HTML that is pulled from a database. When the emails are received there are random instances of " !" (that's a space and a bang symbol) inserted

DHCP configuration for Cisco 7960?
(Apologies to those Toronto Asterisk Users' Group folks who have seen this message... I figured I'd have more success with a wider audience) I'm trying to boot a Cisco 7960 from an ISC DHCPD server (3.0.3 on FreeBSD 4.11), so far unsuccessful, and getting some odd behaviour on the wire. I wonder if anyone has done this before and therefore can validate whether or not the traffic I am

load balancing SIP extensions
What I would like to do is have two identical * servers which accept registrations of sip extensions 4000-4999. If I define a rrDNS or LinuxHA then I should have load-balanced registrations. However, say ext. 4001 is registered on *1 and 4002 is registered on *2, if 4001 tries to call 4002 then I would like to do something like: - lookup 4002 on *1, try to establish a call if it's REGISTERED here - if it's not registered here th...

Where's crm (from pacemaker-cli) on CentOS 6.4?
Hi, After upgrade the nodes on one of my HA clusters I find that "crm" isn't on the pacemaker-cli package. After some research on the web I find this: http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/linuxha/pacemaker/84376?page=last That thread points to this OpenSuSE repo: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/network:/ha-clustering/RedHat_RHEL-6/ Which suply the new "crm" from "CRM shell" project: http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/crmsh/ Then, after upgrade,...

Xen XCP - How to make WLB work?
I have installed XCP on a series of server and we have managed to install XenCenter to manage them, but when it comes to WLB and HA - it seems that the opensource XCP does not have the ability of doing WLB and HA. Then I see also there is a web software named: Xen Cloud Control, but to be frank I have not been able to even add a user - the uncgi program either is not working properly or the
