Sveasoft Alchemy QOS
I just bought two new Linksys WRT54G routers. Sveasoft has loaded Linux on
this router and included a bunch of Linux tools, one of which is Bandwidth
Management. The QoS aspect of this is supposed to be much more granular
than the previous solution (Wonder Shaper).
I have not been able to find any suggestions for how to impliment QoS
(Bandwidth Management) using the web interface of Alchemy.

Linksys 160nl
I'm finally biting the bullet, and replacing the 12-yr-old box that's been
my firewall/router with an appliance. First, does anyone have any idea
whether the WRT160 nl can use tomato? Second, is there any way, or any
reason, I could/would want to run bastille against the firmware?

Tinc + Tomato (firmware)
...th gui in Tomato firmware because I find it useful.
It's been working well for me, but I'm sure there's there's a bug or
two, or something I've overlooked. Let me know of anything and I'll
correct it in a future release.
I created a tutorial for Tomato users here.

Tinc GUI Frontend?
...etimes money helps motivate people if there's none to be found.

Well, since you asked, I have created my own little gui for tinc... for
routers.? Don't know if it's what you're looking for but it's better
than nothing I guess.

I had the idea for years before I finally ran with it (Took me a long
time to get motivated).? It does actually make it quite easy to setup
tunnels, between routers that is. Any other type of client (ie, windows,
linux, mac) would have to be setup the...

Tinc GUI Frontend?
Tinc looks like a wonderful VPN tool, potentially a great alternative to
the zero-configuration Hamachi and similar services. Tunngle, NeoRouter,
Remobo and Comodo EasyVPN are also in the zero-configuration LAN VPN
category.
But none come close to the freedom, flexibility and security of Tinc. If
only Tinc had a GUI or even a command line configuration tool to
generate and manage the Tinc

Tinc and OpenWRT
Greetings.
I'm new to tinc, but have so far managed to get a couple laptops and a
hosted server all connected. They're working as expected, running
Tinc 1.1-pre11, which I compiled from source.
Next I want to move on to adding my home router into the mix. My
routers run OpenWRT. I don't have experience compiling anything from
source for OpenWRT, but OpenWRT has Tinc 1.0.25

[Bridge] Ubuntu: network bridging between wireless and wired connection fails
Hi everybody,
First of all, let me say that I searched a lot on the internet. I
spent several hours sitting after my notebook, but I can't configure
my network bridge in Ubuntu. I'm really desperate, so I hope somebody
can point me out what I'm doing
