Steps to reproduce: 1) cat << EOF > config name = 'squeeze64' vcpus = '4' memory = '512' disk = [ 'file:/home/lindi-sudo/squeeze64/disk.img,xvda,w' ] EOF 2) xm create -c config Expected results: 2) the domain boots Actual results: 2) pygrub shows "Debian GNU/Linux, with Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64" correctly but after a long timeout it prints Error: Device 51712 (vbd) could not be connected. Understanding the use of virt-install from the CLI (Linux)
Hello, I've created several VMs using virt-manager and am using them. This time around though, I'd like to use the CLI approach. The problem resides in defining a storage space. This is using virt-install 1.5.1 on Xubuntu 18.04. For the occasion I created a new directory to store images. So I specify this new directory: virt-install \ --name=arch01 \ --disk

code for Heckman selection with panel data
Hello, Does anyone know of R code that exists to correct for sample selection with panel data as in: J.M. Wooldridge (1995), ?Selection Corrections for Panel Data Models Under Conditional Mean Independence Assumptions,? Journal of Econometrics 68, 115-132. Many thanks for your consideration, Lindy

Bug#706233: Incorrect information about xm dump-core and pausing or not pausing in xm man page
...t the source code of this process, the default behaviour is to actually pause the domain, so the man page is wrong about this. As there's only an option which can be given to also pause the domain (-L, --live Dump core without pausing the domain.) this was looking suspicious anyway. Thanks to lindi for checking the source and confirming. -- Hans van Kranenburg - System / Network Engineer T +31 (0)10 2760434 | hans.van.kranenburg at mendix.com | www.mendix.com

AIX 4.3.3 + sshd = bug
Hello, I believe that there is a bug in OpenSSH that affects its usage on AIX 4.3.3 - Maintenance Level 3 and higher. This bug was introduced by a change by IBM in the "/usr/lib/drivers/ptydd" driver, and it affected IBM's own telnetd daemon (reference

4.6p1 chan_read_failed error
The 4.6p1 sshd is logging this error during remote commands or file transfers: error: channel 0: chan_read_failed for istate 3 Platform is Solaris 8, 4.6p1 + OpenSSL 0.9.8d. The commands and transfers work correctly, so the error message appears to be spurious. The error message does not appear when processing logins. Otherwise 4.6p1 is running without any apparent problems. This error
