Which antivirus for a Samba (Debian) fileserver?
...ing problems. All clients use F-secure which i centrally manage from another linux server which is pretty good imo. I read other people suggesting to use a different one for the server to have a different "angle" for catching stuff instead of just one program. Any suggestions? Koen Linders

Adding points sequentially to multiple graphs in one window (device)
Dear R-help list: I have want seems to be a simple task, but can't find a solution. I tried querying the archives, but did not succeed. My goal is to set up two (or more) graphs in one graph window, and then during execution of a sequential algorithm add points sequentially to these graphs. The graphs have different scales / coordinates. I use the par(mfg...) command to switch between

Maybe a NAS system which works without a problem? Anything I should check for (NFS support I guess)? Greeting, Koen Linders

[RFC] DWARF Version 6 Proposal For Heterogeneous Debugging
Hi llvm-dev, I'm writing on behalf of a team at AMD working on upstreaming support for AMD GPUs into GDB. We have drafted a proposal of backwards compatible extensions to DWARF for heterogeneous debugging which is rendered at https://llvm.org/docs/AMDGPUDwarfProposalForHeterogeneousDebugging.html. The proposal includes a thorough introduction with justification, so I won't belabor that

[RFC] DWARF Version 6 Proposal For Heterogeneous Debugging
Hi Scott, It's possible they've missed it, so I've explicitly CC'ed a number of the usual DWARF suspects, at least some of whom are on the standards committee. I don't have anything specific to add myself. James On Mon, 27 Apr 2020 at 15:25, via llvm-dev <llvm-dev at lists.llvm.org> wrote: > I don't know what an acceptable ping rate on an RFC is, but I also

Digital speech within 100 Hz bandwidth
HA! Just when I was getting ready to drop myself from this list, along comes a ham radio question! Shoving digital voice down a 100 Hz pipe would be mighty darned tough/impossible. N0YMV has a good suggestion. Try those WSJT modes. They use narrow bandwidth and are fun to play with. There are documented instances where moon-bounce QSOs have been completed with these modes. No, it's

FS locks
Hello, unfortunately I got some trouble using ext3 - the system hangs when working in a certain directory. Not completely, I can switch between consoles and reboot with SysRQ, but cannot do anything which requires disk IO: not start any applications, not umount, nothing. I could send the strace output, but I don't think this would help anyone. Sorry, but I don't have a clue where to start
