R and Java
Daer all,
Before to expose my problem, this the configuartion of my environment.
I use the version 1.2.1 of R with a limux system (redhat)
I have installed SJava (from omeghat) package successfully.
So, i wanted to try an example (calc.R) that is provided in the library.
This is the message I obtained:

Correct method to Join Domain ????
...would need (at least for NT)
Name of Domain
Admin account
Password for admin account
A unique Network Name for the PC.
And you typically (at least thru XP) right click on the Computer Icon, >
Properties > Network and Join the domain or change machine name to get on.
What do you do for Limux / Samba ???
You need,
root account, ???
root password ???
Uniique machine name ???
Do you try to join domain is same manner or is there a config file you
got to edit ???
Any help or advice is welcome.

CD sharing via iso9660, mounted, and samba
I have installed a small Limux box in my local primary school, in order
to sahre CD iso images.
The system works fine, untill several w/s's concurrently access the same
program , whereupon, we get spurious crashes. I have tried disableing
op-locks, which seemed to help, but only slightly.

My question is about which Linux distribution to choose for Asterisk. (/me
