CentOS Release Lifeline
Hi all,
The usual apologies if this has been answered; I didn't see the answer
anywhere on the site or googleing the archives...
Since CentOS is a RHEL rebuild (and this is brilliant!), does that
imply that CentOS will continue to provide security patches and bug
fixes so long as Red Hat continues to release them for a given version
of RHEL? That's to say that Red Hat commits to 5 years

mg3000-r fxo gateway provides more feature to work with asterisk
...ll
automatically dial on the pstn line through fxo port. The end user use the
gateway like it was on voip line. So the voip call quanlity is protected
with pstn backup line.
The voip change to pstn condition is: when voip service is unavailable or
the power is loose.
It is very difference than lifeline. Lifeline is a n to 1 protection. This
is 1:1 protection. Lifeline work only when the power is loose, it has no use
when the network is down.

Question re RHEL 5.3
...ing, and I've
even reported on this myself in this list before.
My question is, do we have any idea if 5.3 has any improvements in this area?
One of my cohorts here, who happens to be a Fedora fan, says that
these problems are fixed in F9, but I have grave concerns about
putting an enterprise lifeline main application on any Fedora release.
If 5.3 solves these issues, I'd much rather go with that.
Any ideas? Any places I might look to see for myself?
Thanks.

Memory leaks in backgroundrb
While debugging stale backgroundrb it became apparent that there''re
memory leaks in it. Here''s top object counts dump:
36715 String
6211 Array
5598 Proc
3150 Hash
1478 DRb::DRbObject
1313 Regexp
1272 Class
750 Thread
741 Socket
739 Slave
739 Slave::LifeLine
737 Process::Status
691 DrillReminderWorker
391 Module
160 Range
75 Gem::Version
73 XSD::QName
It''s easy to see that loads of threads and slaves are present in the
process. It also has references to 691 workers!
In case there might be some problems with my worker here...

Need Adapter/Gateway with PSTN-interface
I am looking for a gateway/ATA that can take conversations on the
analogue line (PSTN) and send them to the Asterisk server on the private
network.
I was experimenting with the Atcom AG-188N but the "FXO"-port only
supports lifeline, so it's not a real FXO-port that can send incoming
calls to my private Asterisk-server.
Could someone advice on a gateway that can take analogue calls and
transfer them on my local network ?!
I know about the Digium-cards. Are there alternatives ?
Jonas.

SOAP client in Ruby/Rails
...t, not-
outdated documents on getting started with SOAP as a client? Also,
does anyone know if the SOAP stuff in Ruby does document/literal, or
is it RPC only? I''ve read that SOAP4R can do it, but of course it''s
not documented, so I have no clue how to begin.
I could really use a lifeline here if someone has one to toss me.
Thanks,

qplot with many files (each one curve)
Hi,
i would like to plot a few hundred .csv files.
Each file contains one curve with x,y values to plot.
I have been searching for "gnu r read many files qplot"
and similar words. I found for loops that use assign to generate
one variable containing a dataframe.
When i uesed the classic "plot' command i could add
the curves with something like

Use Grandstream ATA as trunk
Hi All,
I have a GSM box, which needs to connect to a analogue phone line. I've
plugged the GSM box to a Grandstream ATA (386). This ATA has extension
number 600. Now what I want to accomplish is the following:
- If a mobile-number is chosen by a user, asterisk needs to call the ATA
(600), wait for a few seconds, and then send the mobile-phonenumber. Or,
if it's possible, define the

Is there a function that runs AR model with Schwarz Bayesian Information Criteria (BIC)?
Hello,
Is there a function in R by which one can run AR model with Bayesian
Information Criteria (BIC)? To my knowledge, functions ar and ar.ols could
select the order only by AIC.
Thanks,
Miao

I want to test whether the MEAN of two different variables, (and

are different:
