Hello! I`ve got Problems to get Half-Life to work with wine. When I try to start Half-Life i just get a small part of the hl menu displayed. I found that if the last field on a line was a missing '.' it was not read as NA, but just a '.', and the life variable was made a factor. I got it working with wine, yay... And it's entirely playable but two problems puzzle me. Number one: The sound is lagging behind. I shoot and then about 1 second later, the gun makes a noise. Now the gun fires instantly but the sound is just delayed. (the same with all sound in half-life, no other game though). Anyone else had this problem? Number two: Performance is still rather poor.

For some reason TCP/IP apps (Ultima Online, mIRC, etc.) work fine, but when I go to browse servers for Internet Games in Half Life / Counterstrike / etc.. can't get a server list, no error, just 0 servers.
