I installed the 0.2.5 version of libmtp, ran the hotplug.sh script (which has a bug in it, but it's only for "old" hotplug support), the player shows up in lsusb, BUT gnomad2 can't seem to find it. So, I got my wife a Nook for her b'day. I just plugged it into my system, CentOS 6.5, and what I see is /media/NOOK, and it shows 257k or so - yes, k, not m or g.
