Dos To Unix?
...file from a Windows directory - say autoexec.bat and drop it onto a samba mapped Unix drive, when we then go to the Unix box and vi the file all the lines end in the DOS EOL character (^M) is there any option/configuration in samba to make it convert DOS text files to UNIX format? Newbie help: Samba 2.0.3 & SCO 5.0.5
Hi, I've just installed a binary version of Samba 2.0.3 on SCO 5.0.5 and am having some problems. I'm basically following "SAMS Teach yourself Samba in 24 hrs" book. On a Win98 machine I can see the SCO machine in the Network Neighborhood. When I try to connect it asks for a passwd and says that the passwd is incorrect when I enter it. It also displays

Problem compiling wine with latest cvs
I can't get recent cvs versions to compile. afx.h... configure: error: Could not find the MFC includes
This is driving me nuts. I'm trying to compile an MFC application using WINE. I can specify the location of the ATL includes and configure is quite happy but it chokes when I give it the MFC includes in the same way: ./configure --with-atl-includes=/home/wade/VC98/atl/Include --with-mfc-includes=/home/wade/VC98/mfc/Include Wassup? I'm using Winemaker 0.5.5 And wine
