Leisure Suit Larry's Greatest Hits and Misses
I am now at the point where I have one more thing to install before I can scrap my Windows box - and it's Leisure Suit Larry's Greatest Hits and Misses. I have installed the DOS-based parts of it in dosbox, and also used sarien and freesci to handle some of it, but there is a significant part of this collection that needs Windows. Trying an installation with the default Windows version

Documentation for downloading and reading offline
Is there anywhere that I can download the Ruby/Rails documentation & APIs so I can peruse it offline at leisure? I only have a dialup connection at home and going online all the time to access important documentation like that is a bit of a pain. -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

Successive Graphs
Hello! I have written an R script on a Windows platform where I calculate eight result matrices I plot using matplot. I would like to display the resulting plots successively, rather than simultaneously, and I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction as to how to do this. The graphs pop up in this manner by default when I run my script in S-PLUS, with tabs separating them so I

Braindead Autoreply filters... WAS Re: samba Digest, Vol 102, Issue 8
It would be nice if one of the list moms would immediately unsubscribe AND PERMANENTLY BAN idiots who use braindead autoreply filters. This should be official list policy for ALL email lists... ISPConfig: Secure on Centos?
Just wanted to see if this tool was approved or disapproved of in the centos community as far as security is concerned. http://www.ispconfig.org/ I have noted that anything that is not a centos package is probably suspect, -so feel free to assure, or warn, at your leisure. Basically we are looking for a secure GUI based DNS admin tool, (I myself prefer an openbsd or centos dns machine and tyo

[LLVMdev] Merge-Cha-Cha
As you all have undoubtedly noticed, I recently did Yet Another Merge to Apple's GCC top-of-tree. This merge was prompted by several important fixes in the "blocks" implementation. There are still many testcases that need to be moved over, but those can come at our leisure. I compiled both the "Apple way" and the "FSF way". It also passed the tests in

[LLVMdev] r72619
...ve changed after your patch. I'm certain the existing patch is wrong and that we'll want a computation somewhat similar to the clang one that I think Doug is going to post. I think the safe thing is to revert for now and we can discuss all of the semantics and what's going on in a more leisurely fashion and let poor Bill get his project building :) -eric

Backup Server with rsync methods
Hi guys: I'm about to migrate a sever to a managed server facility. I've alwau=ys used tape to backup my server, now that's not an option. I've read abut using rsync to do backups and have several scripts to do same. I believe rsync is a good solution. I am missing some important nuiances though... I would like to have essentially a "mirror" server at my facility (

hard link between courierimapuiddb and dovecot-uidlist?
Hi, guys. I'm attempting to transition between Courier IMAP and Dovecot. I may not be able to transition all the courierimapuiddb files instantly or even transition all my servers at the same time. Ideally, it wouldn't matter. Users can login and get to a Courier IMAP machine or a Dovecot machine and read their email (all mounted via NFS). My question is: is there any reason I can't

Samba 3 (PDC+LDAP) problem with user-level access on Win9x
Hi there I am having a problem when using User-Level Access on Win9x with my Samba 3alpha22 domain. When editing Sharing properties for a directory, I select "Add" to modify or view the list of domain users available. I then get the following error: You cannot view the list of users at this time. Try again later. As far as I understand, this facility has been functional since Samba

[LLVMdev] [PATCH][Compiler-rt] Windows implementation of mmap functionality in clear_cache_test and enable_execute_stack_test
Hi, Attached is a patch for compiler-rt to allow it to compile with MinGW-w64 on Windows. Results aren't that bad. x86 GCC and Clang do everything right, all tests pass. x86_64 GCC fails a lot of tests. This is 99% sure a codegen issue. 38 - fixunssfti_test (Failed) 74 - fixunsdfti_test (Failed) x86_64 Clang fails these tests: 2 - udivmodti4_test (SEGFAULT) 6 - fixdfti_test (Failed) 8 -
