Monitoring IO -- vmstat doesn't match snmp
...ocks per second figures from vmstat. These two sets of numbers overlap, and the numbers before and after are similar. So what's up with that ? (Here's my monitoring code that produced the second set of figures, in case I did something dumb-ass: #! /bin/bash set -e HOST=prcapp01 secs=10 lbc=0 lts=0 echo "blockcount bl/sec bytes/sec" while true; do bc=$( snmpget -v 2c -c xxx $HOST 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.57.0 | cut -d' ' -f4 ) ts=$( date +%s ) if [[ $lbc > 0 ]]; then (( bsec = ( bc - lbc ) / ( ts - lts ) )) (( bytes = bsec * 512 )) #echo $lbc $bc $bsec...

I have an error for a simple optimization problem. Is there anyone knowing about this error? lambda1=-9 lambda2=-6 L<-function(a){ s2i2f<-(exp(-lambda1*(250^a)-lambda2*(275^a-250^a)) -exp(-lambda1*(250^a)-lambda2*(300^a-250^a))) logl<-log(s2i2f) return(-logl)} optim(1,L) Error in optim(1, L) : function cannot be evaluated at initial parameters Thank you in advance -- View this

[LLVMdev] New binary formats just for LLVM?
...ng/clang++ become more widely used. So why accept the limitations of GCC object file formats? I am not trying to start a flame war or anything. I can be told to shut up if I produce too many stupid questions in too short a time :-) [1] It can. Simply reserve a specific extension, such as "lbc" (LLVM BitCode), to the file type and then define a system-wide association to the bitcode interpreter, and you're all set. FW: Logwatch for XXXXXXX.kd4efm.org (Linux)
Found an error or two from my logwatch report from yesterday, thought I would share this in hopes this is just first time run of the problem I noticed in the Kernel report section... Also not sure why there's an issue with automount either.... but I guess I could ask on that issue as well. I am not worried about the NAMED error, this is something that happens due to one of the services that
