Dear R-list, I have a plot with y-axis corresponding to wind measurments and x-axis with date-time information. When I want to identify some extrem wind events in the wind-curve, I use locator() to get the exact date-information, by clicking in the points in graph I?m interested in. Dear R colleagues, I am trying to create a new column in a data frame, which converts values and NA's from another column into binary format. Essentially I need the NA's to become 1 and the rest to be 0. Hi everybody, with rails 3 I have the problem that the controllers don''t accept german umlaute anymore. E.g. when I try to build an array: landschaft = %w[ Berg Hügel Tal Ebene] I get this lovely error message: ... controller.rb:5: invalid multibyte char (US-ASCII) Sure enough the document encoding of the controller is utf8.
