StepAIC
Dear list, here is an example of stepAIC that I do not understand. The data is n=42, Lage is the only factor and there are four other variables treated as continuous. First you see the stepAIC-forward solution (fs7). The strange thing here is that apparently not all interactions are tried for inclusion, but only WQ:Lage. In particular, I think that WFL:Lage should be tried in the last two

Hello, I have a problem with Hausman test. I am performing my analysis with these commands: > library(plm) > data<-read.csv2("paolo.csv",header=TRUE) > data< pdata.frame(data,index=c("FIRM","YEAR"),drop.index=TRUE,row.names=TRUE) > RECEIV~LSIZE+LAGE+LAGE2+CFLOW+STLEV+FCOST+PGROWTH+NGROWTH+TURN+GPROF+GPROF2 >

I feel like a complete dolt, as I know this question has been asked by others on a fairly regular basis, but I'm going in circles trying to get the following to work: id.prob<-function (tt) { library(mvtnorm) #============================ Makeham<-function(tt) { a2=0.030386513 a3=0.006688287 b3=0.039047537 t<-tt-20 h.t<-a2+a3*exp(b3*t) S.t<-exp(-a2*t+a3/b3*(1-exp(b3*t)))

you are right about the 3rd line but it doesn't help me for my problem. I remove the 3rd line but there is still the same problem: Error in solve.default (dvcov): the system is numerically unique: reciprocity condition value = 1.63418e-19 Paolo 2018-02-11 16:54 GMT+01:00 Bert Gunter <bgunter.4567 at gmail.com>: > Note the typo in your 3rd line: data < > > Don't

doveadm mailbox delete not working
I have a user who has several folders in his mailbox, which we can not delete, neither via IMAP nor via doveadm: root at ka-nfs-mail:~# doveadm mailbox list -u <username> | grep hbereiche | cat -v INBOX/[Fachbereiche ^M INBOX/Fachbereiche ^M INBOX/hbereiche^M INBOX/hbereiche/LAGen]^M INBOX/hbereiche/LAG^M INBOX/[Fachbereiche^M INBOX/[Fachbereiche/LAGen]^M INBOX/[Fachbereiche]^M

doveadm mailbox delete not working
One more update, I tried renaming that "[Test " folder to just "Test", which creates an also not deletable folder "Test". Good news is, if I delete these folders on both replication nodes from mdbox/mailboxes and mdbox/subscriptions they seem to be really gone. I can event create the folder "Test" again and it behaves normal aka. I can delete it afterwards

Dear R users, Is there a simple way to use the effect function (library(effects)) with a GEE estimated model? library(gee) library(MASS) library(effects) attach(epil) b = gee(y ~ lbase*trt + lage + V4, family=poisson, id=subject, corstr="exchangeable") plot(effect("lbase*trt", b)) # Errore in effect("lbase*trt", b) : nessun metodo applicabile per

openser/ser/Asterisk user meeting (beer drinking in Vienna)
Hi! Meanwhile also the location is fixed: it is happening at metalab (http://metalab.at/) - a place for geeks. Thus, we meet there at Thursday, 20.9.2007, 19:00 CEST (=local Vienna time). Metalab is located next to the city hall: http://metalab.at/wiki/Lage Metalab is no pub/restaurant. Thus, don't come hungry! Nevertheless liquid food (drinks) is available. We meet in the library (in

doveadm mailbox delete not working
I found a way to reproduce the problem :) Use an arbitrary mailbox (maybe my Dovecot config with mdbox etc. required). Then use Thunderbird (52.9.1 on Mac) to create eg. the following folder (without the quotes!): ??? "[Test / Test]" This is a space, a slash and a space between the Test in square brackets. TB now creates the following two folders: 1. "INBOX/[Test " (not

CANNOT BROWSE (the solution)
Hi all. I?m using the binary distribution of SAMBA 1.9.16 on SCO3.2v4.2. Last weekend we got a new server. Installed all applications and all worked fine (as expected) ... but: the win/nt clients could map the shares, but they could not browse the SAMBA-box! I checked the "browseable=" options, but everything looked ok. Increasing the debug level and stepping through the logfiles

Simulate p-value in lme4
Dear r-helpers, Spencer Graves and Manual Morales proposed the following methods to simulate p-values in lme4: ************preliminary************ require(lme4) require(MASS) summary(glm(y ~ lbase*trt + lage + V4, family = poisson, data = epil), cor = FALSE) epil2 <- epil[epil$period == 1, ] epil2["period"] <- rep(0, 59); epil2["y"] <- epil2["base"]

Hi, the thing I'm actually looking for is that whether the sync causes the folder to be restored, so it might be a better idea for you to try and spot this from the logs. I assume that as an SP that you are using mail_log plugin, so that might be useful to spot if this happens. You can also try looking at the UIDVALIDITY value of the folder, it usually corresponds to the creation unixtime.
