Snom 360 Phones - Administrator/User Feedback
...0 phone. After deploying six of
them to an office, I'm not as enthusiastic about them as I was when I was
testing one before the deployment. The firmware seems to be consistently
buggy, some of its problems are intermittent which makes it frustrating to
troubleshoot and the support from Snom is lackluster to say the least. I
find myself favoring Cisco and Polycom phones, not only from a user POV but
also the automation of deployment... Does anyone share similar sentiments?

Looks like I'm going to have to port parts of or all of rsync to win2k. Has
this been done before? Any pointers?

rsync/jscript/cygwin problem
I'm using a javascript program to execute rsync 2.5.6
compiled with cygwin on Windows XP Pro machines.
These backup the user's "My Documents" folder to a
Linux server running rsync 2.5.6 in daemon mode
when the user logs in to XP and certain conditions are
met (e.g. user hasn't backed up for a few days, user
on the network etc).
This works great except every now and then

evaluating backup systems: rsync
Considering using rsync on a couple systems for backup, I was wondering
if it's possible, and if so how difficult is it, to delete files which
have been backed up (in order to save space on the backup media).
Anyone with experience doing this?

Hardware RAID Controller
Hi Everyone,
Has anyone had any experience of using the Promise FastTrak SX4000 or
SuperTrak SX6000 IDE RAID Controllers under Centos (if it matters I'm
using version 4). I've seen it listed on linuxcompatible.org as working
but would prefer to find out any first-hand experince before I buy.
I'm looking to build a new mini server based on Mini-ITX and have found

and due to that, i still give it good word-of-mouth.
but as a light-markup fan, who'd hoped "composer"

disappointed that this first version is so lackluster,
at least compared to what i was expecting from it...
but i continue to hope that it continues its successes.
and if you won't bring the killer-feature to markdown,
i hope somebody else will... again, no harm, no foul...
