[samba4] How to use my ldap users in sam.ldb?
Hi I successfully compiled samba4 on my ubuntu. Actually, most our Linux servers are using en openldap base to authenticate. All the samba 3 servers use this openldap base /passdb backend = ldapsam:ldaps://ldap.intra.labo.fr// (in the smb.conf) I tried to migrate the users account of my openldap database to internal samba4 ldap database. For this I used the myldap-pub.py script with this command line : /./myldap-pub.py --ldap_uri=ldap://ldap-server.labo.fr \// //--ldap_binddn="cn=admin,ou=administrateur,dc=l...

centos 5.5 oscar: gcc41, gcc44 and gfortran41, gfortran44
Hi, I'm totally new with centos...we have a cluster in our labo with centos oscar. The gcc which was provided with the release is gcc41 and gfortran41. There are packages for gcc44 and gfortran44. I have installed them. But the gcc is not a link to gcc41 or gcc44. it is just an executable. idem for gfortran. So which is the good way on centOS to choose the gcc...

Pearson correlation coefficient matrix with permutation test
Hello, I found an interesting program on Pierre Legendre's webpage: http://www.bio.umontreal.ca/casgrain/en/labo/corr_permute.html With this program one can compute a "Pearson correlation coefficient matrix with permutation test". This is exactly what I need as an R-package because so far I have only analyzed my data with the function cor(). However, I need additional permutation tests for each in...

We would like to use the stable tree of nut on the computer with an APC BACK-UPS RS 1500VA 230V. I have seen on the compatibility page, that this UPS is supported. is there anyone, who uses this UPS with NUT to confirm that ? T...

I.O error: zpool metadata corrupted after powercut
...tion was caused because of the zfs no cache flush setting we had configured in /etc/system (for perfomance reason) in combination with a non battery backuppped NVRAM cache (areca raid controller). zpool was raidz with 10 local sata disks (JBOD mode) 2 days ago we had another powercut in our test labo :-( And again one pool was lost. This system was not configured with zfs no cache flush. On the pool we had +/- 40 zvols used by running vm''s (iscsi boot/swap/data disks for xen & virtual box guests) The first failure was on a b68 system, the second on a b77 system. Last zpool was u...
