What''s the proper way of dealing with this problem?

APC Back UPS and Best Power FERRUPS?
Lately I got (used) an APC Back UPS Pro 1000 and Back UPS NS 1080. I got
an ethernet-to-USB cable from another UPS, but the Pro isn't detected
(with usbhid-ups.) I haven't tried the NS yet but it seems to not be on
the list though looks just like the Pro.
Some months ago I was discussing setup of a Ferrups 700VA. I got it to
work only with a command in rc.local, but not automatically

APC Back UPS and Best Power FERRUPS?
...gt;
There are a few different angles we can approach this one from. What error message do you get from usbhid-ups, and what does "lsusb -d 051d:" show?
Here are the APC USB IDs that the latest NUT code recognizes:
https://github.com/networkupstools/nut/blob/master/drivers/apc-hid.c#L87-L92
(Unless you have rebuilt from the latest Git sources, your packages are probably older, and may not include all of these IDs.)

My Host
I need to get some absolute redirects working -- basically I set callback
hooks to external services, but I want these hooks to use my configured
CNAME''s. I''m trying to find a way so that my app doesn''t have to know
about these CNAME''s. So I''m looking at the request in the controller to
try and get the base URL where I''m running.

FFI and msvcrt
Hi,
I''ve been using FFI with a Ruby 1.9.3 built with MSVC++ and it''s been
working well. One thing I''ve run into though is this:
ffi_lib :msvcrt
But that''s not the runtime I want. But I don''t want to hard code the
runtime name either. I realize I could parse it out of RbConfig, but I
was hoping for something nicer.
Is there a way we could create an

All,
using Samba as an AD (2k12) domain member in Stretch
(2:4.5.12+dfsg-2+deb9u4) with tdb as default and rid as domain backend.
No overlapping. Everything works fine. Setup was done as in the wiki
[1].

question about changejournal
Hi,
I''ve got a newbie question--sorry if this is covered elsewhere, I parsed
through the archives for awhile and didn''t see it.
I''d like to listen for whenever a file is renamed (e.g. foo.txt -> foo.old)
and then magically change it back. This sounds odd, but I''m working with a
stubborn application and this will actually make things work nice.
So, if I do:

Possible? Or am I out of luck?
