regression
Hi dear all,
suppose that s is a statistic code;
i have a matrix (x) which has 7 columns (1=x1,2=x23=x3,4=x4,5=x5,6=x6
and7=y)
and has 20 rows. i want to do linear reggression like
reg<-lm(x[,7]~1+x[,1]+x[,2]+.......+x[,6])
but i want to do delete i th row for nrows times and create regression model
like above and compute each models' "s" statistics and list them. but i
could

How can I test for collinearity in the predictor data set
for multiple linear regression.
Thanks

definition of "dffits"
R-users
E-mail: r-help@r-project.org
Hi! R-users.
I am just wondering what the definition of "dffits" in R language is.
Let me show you an simple example.
function() {
library(MASS)
xx <- c(1,2,3,4,5)
yy <- c(1,3,4,2,4)
data1 <- data.frame(x=xx, y=yy)
lm.out <- lm(y~., data=data1, x=T)
lev1 <- lm.influence(lm.out)$hat

Problem with local Discovery in tinc-pre
I'm currently running tinc-pre6 on 2 nodes in a larger network.
My Laptop (Lassulus), lan ip: 192.168.2.100, tinc-ip: 10.243.0.2
My Server (alphalabs), lan ip: 192.168.2.103, tinc-ip: 10.243.1.10
internet vserver (slowpoke), no lan ip, tinc-ip: 10.243.232.121
Everything works fine until both nodes are in the same LAN. The first
2-3 minutes everything is fine. Pings between the machines go

interpretation of p values for highly correlated logistic analysis
Dear list,
I want to perform a logistic regression analysis with multiple
categorical predictors (i.e., a logit) on some data where there is a
very definite relationship between one predicator and the
response/independent variable. The problem I have is that in such a
case the p value goes very high (while I as a naive newbie would
expect it to crash towards 0).
I'll illustrate my problem

Which columns give rise to linear dependency?
Short version
If I have a data frame X and I suspect
that there is a dependency between
the columns how do I confirm that,
and how do I tell which subset of columns
is involved?

Condition indexes and variance inflation factors
Has anyone programmed condition indexes in R?
I know that there is a function for variance inflation factors
available in the car package; however, Belsley (1991) Conditioning
Diagnostics (Wiley) notes that there are several weaknesses of VIFs:
e.g. 1) High VIFs are sufficient but not necessary conditions for
collinearity 2) VIFs don't diagnose the number of collinearities and 3)
No one has

RFC: Dynamic dominators
...gradually deprecate and remove the
existing API for manually manipulating dominator tree

with the new incremental API.
*3. Proof of concept*
The prototype implementation can be found in my LLVM fork [2]
<https://github.com/kuhar/llvm-dominators>. It comes with several layers of
verification and was tested on clang, llvm test suite and a few open source
libraries.
The code provides the basic functionality and tries be ‘API-equivalent’
with the current DomTree implementation. The NewDomTree is also able to

tinc1.1pre4 tincctl restart
I cant restart my tincd with 'tincctl restart -n $NETNAME'
I get the message: 'Could not restart tinc daemon'
It works with 'tincctl stop -n NETNAME && tincctl start -n NETNAME'
but sometimes the /var/run/tinc.$NETNAME.pid file is missing so I need
to kill tinc manually
