[LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] Debug information on multiple files
...ng at debugging with ELF and noticed the same problem as
Renato. I just sent a patch to llvmcommits that fixes the problem.
DW_at_stmt_list needs to emit a label(and therefore a relocation) for the
offset rather a constant 0, then the linker can fixup the offset as it
shuffles object files around.

Mandriva problems
...can convert them to xls-files to use with Open Office, but I
don't want to do that, as I can install Excel on SuSE. Why is Mandriva
so difficult??
Made a fresh Madriva installation and as first thing installed wine

Lotus 123 with Wine
...hen trying to start from the menu shortcut, Lotus 123 starts okay, but it dies when I try to open a file or change a setting. How do you explain that??
Would very much appreciate suggestions how to to proceed to get the other distros onboard! Is this a memory problem, and if so how to solve it?

[LLVMdev] subregs in trivial coalescing
...hat
something is broke. I've patched things up by rejecting any trivial
coalescing attempt where the COPY has a subregister as it's target (none of
the tests for arm and x86 hit this case).
Does that seem right? Not sure if I've misused subregs or if the input to
the RA is incorrect?

Security suggestion concering SSH and port forwarding.
...a certain range of users
and one allowing port forwaring, and one not allowing it.
A nicer solution would be if it could be specified in the sshd_config
which users are allowed to use port forwarding.
Please cc: all answers to me, since I'm not a member of this mailing list.

A working solution to the XP domain reboot problem
...oot XP, and log into the domain (use 'options' tab) as 'smbguest' +
passwd_for_smbguest_you_chose
Voila, non?
I also undid the XP firewall in the TCP/IP section, I don't know if this
helped me or not, but it might be crucial if the above doesn't work. Good
luck.

I use the W2k functionality "synchronize" on my laptop to have up2date

The file server is a P 200 MHz running RH Linux 9.
When on-line the synchronization of files works, except for my swedish

nesting content from multiple controllers
Hi guys.
Here''s something I''ve been struggling with for a while: if you want to
nest a login box on, say, a welcome page, but the login stuff is
handled by the login controller while the welcome page is the welcome
controller, what are your options? Iframe?

See "DwarfDebug problem with line section" thread on llvmdev. Bottom line,
we may need a target specific patch for targets that do not follow dwarf
standard (as per my reading) in this particular case.

SAMBA 2.0.7
Dear Samba team:
I just download SAMBA 2.0.7 from
http://samba.gorski.net/samba/ftp/Binary_Packages/redhat/
and I have already installed SAMBA 2.0.6 which come
with my red head linux 6.2 CD. But the 2.0.7 SAMBA is
conflict with SAMBA 2.0.6. and it will not allow me
to install the latest version of SAMBA. It gives me
error messages while I am trying to install samba2.0.7
