patch for ssl_prefer_server_ciphers in dovecot 2.1
...is
complete. I tested it with pop3s and imaps in my test environment and it
works just as expected and seemed to not have any unwanted effects.
(Dovecot code is probably the most beautiful and easy to read C code I've
seen, but there might also be some pitfalls I missed.)
best regards,
Adi Kriegisch
PS: I need that feature to enable PFS while allowing Outlook to still
connect and the others not to fall back to a different cipher; I was
unable to find a PFS cipher that is supported by Outlook and OpenSSL.

Xen 4.0 - No console prompt after booting domU but functional SSH
Hello xen-users !
I am coming for help concerning the just released 4.0 version. Install has
worked rather well on my Debian Lenny. I have just had a few bugs for which
I have found the answer looking around on this list.
I have created a Debian Lenny domU which boots up just fine. The only
problem is that I am unable to get a console prompt when using "xm console
nameofdomU". I do see

LDAP with Samba4
Hey!
We're still running a Samba3 Domain Controller but need to upgrade to
Samba4/AD soon. The core of our DC is an OpenLDAP server that holds
authentication information for many services including Samba3.
The LDAP server gets replicated to every machine that provides some kind of
authentication or needs local user account information; changing password
is done on a web interface that

Hi people...
Here we use Xen 4 with Debian Lenny... We''re using kernel 2.6.31.13

As a storage system, we use AoE devices...
So, we installed VM''s on AoE partition... The "NAS" server is a Intel

However, sometime I feeling that VM''s is so slow...
Also, all VM has GPLPV drivers installed...
So, I am thing about

smbstatus -- protocol and feature information
Hi,
I am trying to figure out what features in terms of protocols (SMB/CIFS,
SMB2, SMB2.1, SMB3) a client uses when being connected to a Samba server
(v4.1.17).
Is there any tool like smbstatus that shows which protocol version (and
possibly which features) a client is using in a connection? (Feature in
the sense of 'using encryption' for example).
Thanks,
Adi

Why does my DomU keep going mad?
Hi All,
I''ve got a DomU that sometimes goes mad. I can''t ssh or usually even
console to it. The time I did manage to console I got a load of dumps
about being out of memory and swap, but couldn''t run any commands to
find out which process had gone mad :(
From Dom0 I can see the DomU at 100% CPU and can only stop it with a
destroy. What can I do/check to find
