Increase CPU usage on HV after upgrade (7.2 -> 7.3)
Hello , After upgrading the system from CentOS 7.2.1511 to CenOS 7.3.1611 I see that the average processing time has increased from 5-7% to 12-15% (doubled). Not critical but it is not pleasant. Server as KVM with 5 virtual machines. Someone noticed something similar? If so, how to fix that? Thx.

Set(CALLERID(all) not working with 'unknown' call?
Hi, This is really strange (but probably simple solution). The CALLERID(all) setting doesn't seem to work when the incomming callerid is 'unknown'. Dialplan looks like this: exten => _3072,1,Answer exten => _3072,n,Set(CALLERID(all)=DIRECT <0850553072>) exten => _3072,n,Dial(SIP/2001&SIP/2002&SIP/2003&SIP/2004&SIP/2201&SIP/2202&SIP/2

disk io in guests causes soft lockups in guests and host processes
Hi, I have a strange phenomenon that I cannot readily explain so I wonder if anyone here can shed a light on this. The host system is a Dell r815 with 64 cores and 256G ram and has centos 6 installed. The five guests are also running centos 6 and are running as a hadoop cluster. The problem is that I see disk-io spikes in the vm's which then cause soft lockups in the guest but I also see

misdn and debian

I started my system with "recovery" kernel, and tun off misd, then my system works fine. I think it's problem with memory. Has anybody debian and misdn working fine? Maybe you can

Greetings - I am preparing to order a new desktop system for work. In general the new system will be a Dell Precision T3610 with two 3 TB drives. I plan on installing CentOS 7 as a KVM host, with virtual machines for Win 7 Pro and Linux Mint. I am looking for some advice or a good how-to on configuring software raid on the two drives, then using LVM for the host and virtual machines. I
