samba - Feb 2017 - Best practice scheduler for SMB server

short question:

Which schedulers are recommended on running a samba smb server using > 1000
files but high I/O on reads/writes on those files?

Not really a samba question and i havent looked into the vfs modules for such
things, never needed it.

I can say that it depends on the running kernel and disktype and os latency.

If its for a SSD, then preffered kernel 4.2+ to get the best performance.

Make sure paritions are aligned correctly, thats very very important. 
And test with the diffent schedulers.
