Unbalanced data in split-plot analysis with aov()

there any argument, I could supply to change this behaviour?
When I do the same with lm() and subsequent anova(), and calculate
F-value for Variety by hand, the estimates are still quite robust.

Help would be greatly appreciated,

Is it possible to define how 'in' works for an object of a specific class

Which mysql for a new project?
Hi all,
I am about to start a new RoR project. Which version of mysql is the
current best one to use? I will be using the soon-to-be-released RoR
1.0 for the project. I really don''t want to start a PostreSQL vs.
MySQL vs. Whatever war. I have all databases including Oracle at my
disposal. This project will be my testbed for using RoR with mysql. I
will be doing other tests with other dbs

My question (finally) is: is there a way of achieving 'desired

completely different way?
Any help appreciated,
Simon Knapp.

scan function
Hi,
I'm using R2.8.1 in windows vista and the scan function to load in my

function finishes. It tells me how many items the function has read.
For example "Read 202035 items". That would not be a problem but this
is printed in the stderr stream which causes a problem in a different
software I run the r scipt in. I

translation from windows to linux
Hi all,
I started recently to use R with linux(ubuntu) but I often get code written under windows or mac. I have two questions. When I encounter a function which is not in R linux what is the best way to find the right linux function for it? So next time I can help myself. I browsed the web for a long time and could not find anything to the the function
zip.unpack.
Thats actually my second
