OpenOffice ods spreadsheets in R?
I would like to open OpenOffice (LibreOffice) .ods files in R. I've tried the ROpenOffice package from omegahat, but unfortunately, the read.ods() function attempts to use the values of the first column in a worksheet as row names, and thus does not allow duplicates in there (which, even more unfortunately, occur in my files). Also, the function does not allow to forward any other

By logging into a smbd server with the username "HAENGINEERS\KMR", we are able to cause a smbd panic every time. Other usernames ("HAENGINEERS\_TestME") work. The stack trace is below, full logs and smb.conf are available on request (don't want to saturate the list.) I can't post to bugzilla as I can't register a new account as my in...

ggplot2: bug in geom_ribbon + log scale!?
Hi everyone, Hadley, it seems there's a bug in geom_ribbon() when using it in a log-scaled plot: d<-data.frame(x=c(1:20),y1=rnorm(20)+3,y2=rnorm(20)+5) p<-ggplot() p<-p+geom_ribbon(data=d,aes(x=d[["x"]],min=d[["y1"]],max=d[["y2"]])) p<-p+geom_line(data=d,aes(x=d[["x"]],y=d[["y1"]]),colour="blue")

ggplo2: fixed extent greater than data?
Hi everyone! I'm digging into ggplot for some while now, I must say it's great! But - as some others have posted before, and hadley knows very well himself - the documentation is lacking some bits... So I have to pose that question directly: I'd like to produce a series of maps with different data on, but exactly the same extent in each plot. Is there a way of switching the

Need information
Hi, Referring to the link http://wiki.libvirt.org/page/VirtualNetworking, the scenario described for the routed mode, explains that "Host has public IP and virtual machines have static public IPs. But one can't use bridged networking, since provider accept only packets from the MAC address of the host" Can someone explain to me why doesn't the switch accept the packets from

Need information
Hi, I am referring to the 'Routed Mode' section just under the section 'Other virtual network switch routing types' in the URL ' http://wiki.libvirt.org/page/VirtualNetworking#Routed_mode'. In the above link, for routed mode, it is stated that 'In this mode all virtual machines are in a subnet routed through the virtual switch.' Can anyone explain to me, if the
