Hi, We are testing AD migration and have come across an issue with login script. The current (pre-ad) login scripts is located in /home/samba/netlogon and the login script is KIX32.exe. Post the migration, we copied the contents of the /home/samba/netlogon to /var/lib/samba/sysvol/lin.group/scripts. Hi all, I have two systems using Win98 and one using Win95. These three systems do not automatically execute their login scripts. I can map the network drives manually and tell them to reconnect at login, but I am wondering why they don't execute them. Hi, I have read that Windows 7 is using a new admx format and that it is not compatible with the old-school poledit. If I would like to stick with a Samba PDC, is there any elegant way to get Windows 7 client to obey the folder redirection(and possibly other rules) set using poledit & NTConfig.pol? I'm trying to figure out an intelligent way to install apps on the network server, and be able to install once and have all the clients use this. However, it seems like most installations modify the registry and seem to demand a client-by-client installation. Am I missing something on this?
