Kiwi Cattools under Wine
Hello Everybody, I'm pleased with the progress of the wine project, it's been nice to move most of my work applications into Linux, and avoid using Windows all together. I am currently facing problems with an application called Kiwi CatTools (http://www.kiwisyslog.com). This application is a Network Management System that automates configuration archiving, mass-configuration pushing/pulling, and various other everyday functions of a Network Technician. When I try to run it under wine, configured as WinXP, setup using win...

[LLVMdev] LLVM JIT on a Baremetal x86 Machine !!!
Hi, First question: "/module" is mapped to a special file that reads a kernel module passed in by the bootloader. Much like GRUB, kiwi's bootloader loads a kernel and can load one or more extra files into memory. These are passed to the kernel. The horizon kernel expects one file, which it makes accessible at "/module". This should be set up to be whatever you set KERNEL_HBC to be. Second question: The program is s...

Drive namings...
Just wondering if there is a way to get drive namings to change according to who's logged into the network. ie. 'bob' logs into windows networking and gets... E: 'bob' on server kiwi. Now if 'sue' logs into windows networking on the same pc she gets... E: 'bob' on server kiwi. But E: contains sue's stuff. So is there a way into making 'sue' replace 'bob' without remapping the drive everytime? Thanks! -- Steve "We confuse you, or...

[PATCH 0/5] bash completion: Add missing bash completion scripts (RHBZ#1367738).
This implements most of RHBZ#1367738. I didn't bother with virt-v2v-copy-to-local and virt-win-reg, but all the other tools now have full bash completion. Rich.
