SUSE Patches
Hello all, I am running SLES9 with the latest kernel patches (2.6.5-7.282-bigsmp) and ocfs2 version (1.2.1-SLES), I was wondering if anyone had any info on if the latest ocfs2 will be included in SLES anytime soon. Or how to get the patches from Novell. Problem with dc-nics 10,11
...#39;d suspect some sort of internal name mismatching (like counting devices hexadecimal (dca) versus decimal (dc10)). This is on an older system (4.6-STABLE). If someone had a similar problem and it is now fixed in 4.8-STABLE, please let me know. Couldn't find a PR for this... RE: Fox Pro DBF open problems Solved.....FOLLOW UP
Hi List, I wanted to provide the solution that proved to fix this problem. On this particular server I observed we had consumed all memory resources and were using a decent sized swap file. After installing more RAM the problem & symptoms have disappeared. FINALLY I have happy users. L. top failure
Hello gentlemen, I've discovered an interesting failure on some machine running 4.7. It's so weird so I'd very unlikely notice it at all, but thanks to top(1): when launched, instead of displaying some useful figures it exits with an error: "top: nlist failed". >From quick look it appears that kvm_nlist() returns NULL for nlst[0].n_type. Strange, ignoring; next exit point

corrgram with two datasets
Hi, I would like to display inter-parameter scatter plots like those with the corrgram package (see upper triangle here: http://www.statmethods.net/advgraphs/images/corrgram2.png ), just that I would like to plot two datasets instead of one. Say one with black and one with red dots. Or a merged dataset where an indicator column is used to assign different colors to particular dots - with still

recommended setup for amd64 7-STABLE with ZFS, Samba 3.2 and possibly ACLs?
Hi, could anyone give recommendations (or share experience) regarding using ZFS: - FreeBSD 7-Stable (amd64 with 8GB RAM) + special tuning necessary (apart from increasing kernel memory to 1 or more GB for ZFS) - Samba 3.2 + ACLs possible directly under ZFS? + recommended compile options? - NFS - email (imap) - jails (I have seen some problems exist with using snaphots within

SIP configuration in realtime static and realtime dynamic
Hi all, I?m currently in the process of familiarizing myself with Asterisk, and am trying to move certain configuration objects (such as SIP peers) into a MySQL database, accessed by Asterisk using the ODBC connector. Now, I?ve imported the sippeers MySQL table from the contrib directory of the Asterisk source, and I could add SIP users in here. However, I currently don?t understand whether this

"Follow me" with Asterisk that detects cellphone voicemail and similar announcements
Hi all, sorry if the subject is a bit confusing, but I just couldn?t think of a good way of better describing the situation? Basically, I travel a lot and have several SIM cards for my phone from local carriers. What I?d like to do now is to setup Asterisk, so that people who want to reach me just have to dial one number which forwards the call to all my cellphone numbers in turn. I?m still

OCFSv2 in a mail cluster environment
Hello, First, thanks to all the people who helped to license this software under the GPL. This is a very important piece of work for the Free Software in the Enterprise Market. Just a few newbie questions. We've been thinking about implmenting a mail cluster with a Fiber SAN (IBM DS-4000) and OCFSv2 as the storage backend. The information on this volume will essentially be Postfix Maildirs,

ath(4) and 802.11g speed
So, with the updated HAL, I'm now able to negotiate an IP address via DHCP over the WLAN. Huzzah! But I've got two questions (now that I can use the card): ath(4) doesn't contain a list of media nor mediaopt settings that can be used. Some are detailed down in EXAMPLES, but there's no comprehensive list. (As well, and this is minor, the speeds are explicitly listed for 802.11a
