runaway imap processes
I am running dovecot (1.2.3) with postfix (2.6.3), postfixadmin
(2.1.0), maia mailguard (1.0.2) and squirrelmail (1.4.19) on Linux
(kernel 2.6.27.8).
I have an ongoing problem with imap processes that hang and eat all

get rid of them is to reboot the server.

Requested CRAM-MD5 scheme, but we have only MD5-CRYPT
After upgrading my dovecot installation about a month ago, I have started
seeing "Requested CRAM-MD5 scheme, but we have only MD5-CRYPT" message
from dovecot in my logs.
Any help in finding and correcting the cause will be greatly appreciated.

Centos 7 and php 5.5
I am hoping that the wisdom of the group here can at least point me in
the right direction.
I have a Centos7 server that I need to upgrade php from 5.4 to 5.5. I've
tried several tutorials to add the remi repository and enable php55, but
I always end up at the same result:
Error: Package: php-5.5.38-1.el6.remi.x86_64 (remi-php55)
Requires: httpd-mmn = 20051115

Linux 2.6.10.
Everything was working fine until I went to start shorewall,
when all network traffic stopped.
I have little doubt that it is because I missed something in
configuring the machine. I''m running shorewall 2.2 and the zone,
policy, and rules files are cut and paste from a machine that
has been running for over a
