fstab labels
Hi,
Recently during an upgrade I was asked to use labels or UUID in
/etc/fstab. I've done that and everything went fine, except for the
only CD/DVD ROM device in my system. According to KInfoCenter (the KDE
devide information application) the this device has the label: CD/DVD
Drive. So I placed this line in /etc/fstab:
LABEL="CD/DVD Drive" /media/cdrom0 udf,iso9660 user,noauto 0 0
Other than the label, this hasn't changed with respect to my previous
entry, which worked fine....

Sound failure in CentOS 6.8
...low
level of white noise coming from the speakers. This noise does not occur when
I first boot up, but kicks in somewhere during the boot process, I'm guessing
when the system is attempting to initialize the sound card.
The only substantial info I have about the failure is the output from
KInfoCenter -> Sound:

As far as I know , to check for the amount of installed RAM on my

Can you please let me know how can I check for the instantaneous
occupied amount of my RAM the similar way the task manager shows it on
my Win server ?
Thank you in advance

Gamepad missing buttons
I am trying to use a Guillemot gamepad with PES6 but the buttons are not recognized.
In kubuntu system settings I can see my pad, callibrate the joysticks and see the buttons are recognized, but not inside wine (only the joysticks are recognized).
I have tried different combinations for the DirectInput entry in the registry but either I have not stumbled upon the correct one or there is another
