R-alpha: naming convention for index files
In the process of moving to the new directory structure, we might also reconsider the naming of the various index files. A simple idea would be to have an `INDEX' file in each directory where this is appropriate. E.g., we could have pkg/funs/INDEX (rather than help/pkg/INDEX) pkg/data/INDEX (rather than index.doc) pkg/help/INDEX (rather than AnIndex) or e.g. pkg/INDEX.funs

0.65 && AIX|HPUX
I've made some more changes to configure/make which still don't solve everything but I think I have to stop for now. Status AIX: * I can compile with gcc/f77/make. * AIX make check fails (cannot build base-Ex.R). * GNU make check fails in the contour example. * Plotting is broken (tickmarks go all the way thru). * IEEE fp stuff is strange (will look into this). * I still need f77 for

Questions about builds
I have a couple of questions about the various Icecast builds that exist: 1) It seems like new builds being done today are all "kh" builds. Is that observation correct? If I see something non-kh, is it older by definition? 2) Other than possibly age, what is the conceptual different (if any) between kh and non-kh builds? What do kh builds hope to accomplish that old Icecast never did? 3) There was a kh-ads build at some...

relationship kh-branch and icecast-trunk
Hi all, I'm thinking about using the kh-branch because I would really like to use the slave_redirect feature in the kh branch for load-balancing. I read this feature won't make it into the 2.3 release, but is it likely to end up in the 2.4 release. In other words: if I decide to use the kh-branch now, is a smooth migration back to th...

Can't compile ices kh static
Hello, I have oen trouble to compile ices kh 57 as a static executable. I built ogg, vorbis, libhshout with enable-static. ld.so.conf is up to date to find shared libs.
