registered with my FWD account via IAX2 and have also tried with SIP. When
a call comes in Asterisk interprets any DTMF tones twice. IE: someone
types 1 asterisk thinks they pressed 11. I have tried the echo test and
do not hear any keybounce or echo. I can forward the call to FWD's
coffeehouse at 514 via IAX2 and DTMF works fine and there is no echo. I
hope I have provided enough information and maybe someone will have a
solution. I thought maybe I could tweak the DTMF recognition but that

Is it possible to be on the rsync list without getting all the samba bugs?
When I signed up for the rsync mailing list, I was not expecting to
get all the samba bugs as well.
Is it possible to be on just the rsync mailing list, without being on
the bug report list as well?

Backing up from windows to macintosh
I want to backup from a windows machine to a Macintosh. All of the
guides that I've seen describe the other direction.
Worse, they all seem slightly different, or inconsistent.
The first thing that I'd want to do should be simple: an rsync -az
--delete of the entire drive, to back up all of the files.
But that's not everything on the windows machine. And this is what I

rsync time machine backup permissions
Dear rsync users,
I'm trying to copy my Time Machine Backup from my old USB hard drive to a new one. I got error messages, because rsync don't create group and other permissions.
I use rsync 3.1.3.
Did I use the correct parameters? Who has an idea, what mistake?
Thanks!
Best, André

Beginner help: Excluding directories by pattern
I apologize in advance for asking a beginner question, but I really
could not figure this from the manual page.
I want to copy some files with rsync, and not copy others.
The stuff that I do not want to copy looks like this:
System Volume Information/_restore*/RP*
WINDOWS/Prefetch/*
Documents and Settings/leila/Local Settings/Application
Data/Google/Chrome/Application/*/Installer/chrome.7z

Help needed getting rsync to copy from windows to mac
I'm trying to use rsync to copy files from a Microsoft Windows machine
(XP, with cygwin) to a macintosh (10.5.8, PPC).
After a lot of playing with options, manual page reading, etc, I have
the following command, executed on the windows machine:
rsync -A -X -a --delete --rsync-path="/opt/local/bin/rsync
--fake-super --log-file=/tmp/rlog.txt" /cygdrive/c/DRIVERS
"rsync at
