Hi Paul, I use executable codes of tex and latex from http://aixpdslib.seas.ucla.edu/packages/tetex.html) and compile the original R-1.9.1 source codes using C for AIX compiler V6.0 and Fortran for AIX compiler 7.1.1 and generate 64 bit R environments.
