Was in the process of upgrading a 7960 to SIP and in advertently applied a skinny image (P003G302.bin), now no matter what i put in OS79XX.TXT and OS7960.TXT it simply wont upgrade. I have recently upgraded my firmware from v6.3 to v7.4. Now when the phone is booted or rebooted, the initial screen "Initializing Vlan" takes forever to initialize before it initializes IP. Hi, I know we've talked about this phone to death. I have pretty good voice quality, with and without WEP enabled, using the G729a codec and DLink & Netgear access points. I am facing one obstacle that is driving me insane. Does anyone have the call hold feature working? If you do... how did you make it work? Has anyone come across the Cisco ata 186 not passing *70? When I press *70, the ata just goes back to a dial tone. The strange thing is, its only *70 and not the reset of the 70's. *71, *72, etc all go through fine. I've tried removing the the dialplan all together from the ata to try and let it pass, but no go??? If I setup an IP phone to its extension, *70 goes through fine, so i know

Since Thursday evening my asterisk box has been failing to register with broadvoice. I haven't changed any of my config files in the last week. Can anyone suggest anything? I currently have 2 Cisco 7960's and 2 ATA 186's connected to asterisk. The 7960's work just fine for call waiting, but the ATA's dont. I cant seem to get the ATA's to use the call waiting feature, the calls just go straight to voicemail instead of prompting with the usual tone.
