works with some windows 2000 workstations, but not with others, even if

need to get TNG running? I can get NT4.0 boxes to authenticate and login
fine (Samba pre-3.0.0), but Win2k keeps complaining:

Steven Vaughan-Nichols at Ziff-Davis said:

...rible inconvenient: aparently, on smbfs the links are not
implemented! I'm using Red Hat 7.1 and samba vs. 2.0.8. Anybody know
if are there any way (update, configuration, etc) to solve this
problem?
Thanks in advance for any help.
