Winelibs question.....
Forgive my newbness. I'm pretty fresh to Linux, but trying to port some reasonably sizable windows apps that I have written. Certainly my gui apps appear to work directly with wine. I also have stuff that makes more sense to use with winelibs. I've had no significant difficulties setting up and compiling bits an pieces, basically just to get my orientation sorted. One of my apps is an

fixeme:pthread_kill_other_threads_np
I just installed wine. I've read as much of the documentation as I could find. yet cannot find a list of known problems.?. I get this error every time I try and use it fixeme:pthread_kill_other_threads_np and then fixeme:console:SetConsoleScreenBufferSize (8,80x25): stub followed with a lot more of the first error. then I get a couple windows that pop up. one being the program I

WineHQ down again - not a DNS problem

Request for moderation: mailing lists winehq
...seeking people that could do our mailing list moderation, since we're getting about 15 to 20 spam bounces per day on our mailing lists (wine-announce, wine-bugs, wine-cvs, wine-devel, wine-patches, wine-users). Needless to say this amount has increased since we started doing it. Currently Ove Kaaven and me do the moderation stuff for all the mails that bounced due to the poster not being subscribed. (that normally means me, since I seem to get back to the lists faster than Ove). So what I did until now is approving all mails of people that do have a valid issue, and discarding mails of those...

No subject
.... I don't know why that is even there. Third, you "should" be using ALSA and should not need any other sound driver. Check ALL the modules that are installed to make sure they "fit" your Etch and hardware installation. ************************************************** Ove Kaaven to wine-users Fine, I've rebuilt the official Debian 0.9.61-2 packages on etch. I put them up at http://people.debian.org/~ovek/wine/, you can apt-get them by putting this into sources.list: deb http://people.debian.org/~ovek/wine/ ./ I might not always build these in the future, though....

In place of the Russian letters there are rectangles. Amount of startable programs diminished notedly... Can you explain how to manage with fonts.... What libraries are needed for complete wine compilation?... And why

GetAsyncKeyState
I wrote an application in c++ which should return the GetAsyncKeyState(0x01). But I always get 0. If I click on the window of my app,I will get the right answer. GetAsyncKeyState should return systemwide clicks! The same things happens when I write a VB application. I found an app written in Delphi which uses the GetAsyncKeyState call and returns systemwide clicks. Can someone tell me whats the
