[a bit off-topic] oggenc crashes my K6-200 box
I've noticed that oggenc reliably crashes my K6-200 box after a few minutes of
encoding. Has anyone else experienced crashes like this?
Surely it must be a hardward fault, or perhaps a K6 problem (this processor
has some errata). Still, I'm surprised that nothing else I do with it seems
to hang it.
Has anyone else seen anything like this...

This patch disables generation of nopl instructions on the following CPUs:
i686 - there are i686-class CPUs that don't have nopl: Via c3, Transmeta
Crusoe, Microsoft VirtualBox - see
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=775414
k6, k6-2, k6-3, winchip-c6, winchip2 - these are 586-class CPUs
via c3 c3-2 - see https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/19733 as a proof that
Via c3 and c3-Nehemiah don't have nopl

Please include a testcase with the patch.
gas uses " nopl 0x0(%eax)" for k6_2. Are you sure it is a gas bug?

AMD K6 and CentOS 3.3
I've downloaded CentOS, baked CDs and start
installing it on one old 450MHz AMD K6 based box with
392MB of RAM.
To my regret, CentOS refused to load (to be installed).
The message on the screen was something along this
line: "Your architecture is not supported"
I am sure that this is NOT CentoOS fault. It seems to
me that RH does NOT support K6 CPU.
Is my statemen...

I'm sending testcase here. Compile it with
"clang -O2 -march=k6-2 -c loop.c"

Yes, it is gas bug. I should report it to binutils maintainers.

You need to configure stats service client limit and imap service client limit. Those are different services than imap-login service.

Big thanks for supporting i586 type machines.
While I know that, technically, the only i586 machines are the Pentium and
Pentium MMX, it is still nice that I can use some headless AMD K6/2 machines
I have lying around for CentOS 4. Many thanks for the effort expended to get
that working.

Hi..
there is supposed to be only at most one (1) stats process. Having multiple stats processes breaks stats.

ATA refuses to answer a call?
I'm kind of at a loss to diagnose problems like this, yet we get them a lot.
- The ATA (Thomson 784 in this particular case) is logged into the
Asterisk server. 'sip show peer' shows their IP address, port, and
useragent.
- The ATA is connected directly to the internet (no NAT, but the sip
configuration has nat=always) and logs in to our server, which is also
directly connected to the

Should be:
quota_warning = storage = 95 %% quota-warning 95 %u
Your conf:

There's a space between % and u.
First of all, try the above and let us know if it changes.

Hello together,
I am setting up a communication server which should also act a
very-low-load PSTN gateway. I am usiing a AMD K6 200 running from a 500

GB?(I would compile, configure, etc. on a separate machine and then copy
everything to the flash device.)

CentOSPlus Kernel for 586?
I have the problem that I almost never throw anything away that can
still be useful. In itself, not bad. Combined with the "World We Live
In" (TM), a "Less Than Optimal Behavior" (SM).
I need some of the features in CentOSPlus kernels for my 586 (K6-III).
1) I don't mind doing it myself and contributing results, if that's what
it takes. Only having LFS experience (rpm nu2me), I anticipate a
"learning curve" and a minimal amount of hand holding. Since I keep
abreast of the lists, know how to Google the list, have heavy
