samba-netlogon
Hello List,
I'm having a problem with a windows95 client under Samba server
1.9.17p4.
I've created a bat file, named user1.bat, user1 is the name of
the ordinary user in use, under the home directory:
/home/samba/netlogon. The matter is that when windows logs the
bat file is not loaded automatically. The commands inside of it
are very simple, as shown in the list below:

Samba Guest Account
Wow I'm sending my second cry for help before the first even gets a reply,
I'm starting to feel like a moron because I have no idea how I caused this
current hitch. Here's the story: I was trying to add an acct called
"administrator" to samba which has an enabled, good linux acct. I never did
get that acct working for some unknown reason, but what happened as a result

having trouble implementing certain shares. The exact problem is
described below:
I want ONLY 'nhs' and 'vhs' to have read only access to

message, "You cannot view the list of users at this time. Please try
again later." I am using Samba 2.0.2. Is user mode functionality
available in this version? If so how do I select a list of users for a

File Locking
Hi,
I'm running smbd 2.2.8. I'm a little green when it comes to file locking
with samba.
I have two users that access a single data file on a FreeBSD box. It's a
moneydance data file and obviously it gets messed-up if two users are
writing to it at the same time. Is there a way with samba to stop a second
instance of the file from being opened, something like a "File In
