US source for compatible ISDN cards?
...ve ISA slots. I *do* have a TigerJet card here with a U interface, but the backend chip is a Siemens IECQ instead of the ISAC so the i4l driver won't drive it. I've been meaning to do the work necessary to get it working but just haven't had the time. -- Joshua M. Thompson <funaho@jurai.org> Planet Jurai

Prebinding for DragonFly/FreeBSD-4
I created patch for DragonFly/FreeBSD-4 for prebinding, based on mdodd@'s patch for FreeBSD-5. The main difference (apart from the target platform) is that the linker needn't be patched. Rtld now uses a hash function to get an unique ID for every ELF object. This has been tested under DragonFly, but should run on FreeBSD-4 too. Feedback appreciated :) cheers simon -- /"\

FC1 and FC2 RPMs now available
...es. Source and binary RPMs are available at: ftp://asterisk.purplehat.net/pub/asterisk/ Please report any problems with these files to myself and not Greg as he has nothing to do with these builds. :) Sorry these took so long; it was a wild week at Astricon. :) -- Joshua M. tdm400p lockups
I have a system that has a TDM400 with 3 FXO modules. Recently, the system started not seeing the ports. No answer, no lines available for oubound dial, and only a reboot of the machine will bring it back. Any ideas to try? Thanks, Tim --

Fedora Core 2 and Kernel 2.6
Hi All, I decided to have a go at installing Asterisk on FC2 which now runs on Kernel 2.6.. Unfortunately I didn't get very far.. When trying to build zaptel it required me to link /usr/scr/linux-2.6 to the default source dir which is /usr/src/linux-2.6.5-1.358.. I guess thats still the RH infulence.. :) After than I tried again but the page rolls with errors and finally ends with..

motherboard for T100P
anyone have a recommendation for a place I can buy cheap motherboards that supports those 64-bit 3.3 volt PCI slots for the T100P ? I can't find them at Fry's or anywhere locally. All I can find online is dual processor server boards that are overkill for this application. I would like to use a P3/ P4/ AMD single processor. No Xeons or dual processor junk. Anyone know why digium

Weird DTMF issue
Can anyone explain why this is happening? I have a server attached to a phone line that will play a .wav file, then play all the dtmf digits (after it answers the call). If I place a call from a SIP device (like a Cisco 7960 phone) through Asterisk and on to the test server, via PSTN, the .wav file sounds fine, but the DTMF digits are distorted ----->------------->--------------------audio

Sped up recordings with 1.4.1
Normally I manage to figure stuff out on my own, but this one is driving me absolutely bonkers... I'm working with an Asterisk box at work, running 1.4.1 on a Core2 Duo machine with kernel 2.6.19.1. There's a quad T1 card (older tor2) in the machine, though this problem happens if I just use ztdummy too. The box isn't actually on the PSTN yet so I'm testing with Ekiga, using
