I need to setup a new mail server and before I got my feet wet or losing in the configurations jungle, I really need some advice from the gurus here for what the best software to used for the mailserver base on CentOS 4.x setup.
The objective is, the mailserver will be easy to setup, maintained and have some

Re-reading config file not working?
...config
However I know the config is good because the server starts up without
any issues (right now I've had to resort to just sending a TERM then
starting it right back up).
Anyone else having this problem? Is it something that is being
addressed?
Thanks,
-Evan

Off-site cloud backup (eg Amazon S3, Wasabi)
I?d like to synchronise our mail store to an Amazon S3 bucket or similar, for protection from ransomware.
Server is running on macOS with maildir.
Should I use a Dovecot process, rsync, a Mac app like Arq or Jungle Disk, or something else?
Anyone have experience or opinions on this?
Thanks,
James.

to remove an error with log(zero)
...a zero or zeros in a row with appropriate numbers.
In order to implement it, I need to detect where zeros are.
Then I am going to take the average of two adjacent neighbors. In the
case of zeros in a row, I guess I might apply the above idea
sequentially.
Would you help me out to escape from this jungle?
Thanks in advance.

Wiki/revision control to management of CRAN package repository
...mind.
Would it be possible/desirable to have the whole CRAN package repository accessible through a public wiki, forge or version control interface (ideally a fusion of the wiki and forge approach)?
It appears it would be a first for a software repository.
CRAN package repository is becoming a jungle of R code and may do well with currating and editorial effort. This can not/should not be the task of a single person or small group of people. Using a crowd sourced method by implementing a wiki approach to the CRAN package repository would allow for the rapid editing, sorting and improvement of...

Icecast2 Win32: any way to minimize on start or run as a service?
Is there any way to run Icecast2 Win32 at Windows startup and at least
one of the following: minimized, in the system tray, or as an NT/2000
service? I looked through the docs but couldn't find anything.
Thanks,
Ethan

CMake vs. autotools output differences
Hello,
I've spent some time hacking up the Debian packaging to use CMake instead
of autotools; it's still a work in progress, but it works. It's a bit of a
mess, though, primarily because there are differences in the output of the
CMake and autotools builds.
On my Ubuntu machine, the dependencies for clang-3.6 look like this:
$ ldd /usr/bin/clang-3.6

[patch 00/54] [Announce] Microsoft Hyper-V drivers for Linux
Hi all,
I'm happy to announce, that after many months of discussions, Microsoft
has released their Hyper-V Linux drivers under the GPLv2. Following
this message, will be the patches that add the drivers to the
drivers/staging/ tree, and a whole bunch of cleanups.
It's taken a long road to get here, and I'd like to thank the following
people who made this possible:
