shrout & fleiss ICC´s with varying numbers of judges
Win7, R2.11.0 I am working on a report together with several co-authors. The data concern several performance measures on a set of groups. These measures are scored by external judges. We report findings on several datasets, including several of the 6 ICC's discussed by Shrout & Fleiss (1979). We determine these using the icc function from the irr package. We have also used the ICC function from the psych package. However, one of the datasets has varying numbers of judg...

select most frequent value in set of variables
Hi, I would like to select the most frequent value level in a set of three variables. Three different observators have judged hair color in study subjects. Mostly they judge the same color, sometimes there is a slight difference. I want to know what most of the observators have chosen (so at least 2) from the 3 observations. E.g. If two out of three observators decide the hair is black, then

USING MULTILEVEL PACKAGE AND WABA FUNCTION
...ld my X and Y? I've understand that i need a variable group (supervisor), but i didn't understand how i can prove that judgement are indipendent from the supervisor. Another specification: supervisors reply to 12 items about each worker, and i have more than 15 supervisors, and ones of them judges only few workers, and others ones judges a very big quantity of workers. The reviewer also told me that another approach is use multilevel modeling (HLM), but i really don't know how i can do it. Hoping to have so many replies earlier, i wish you the best. Binomial simulation
Hi Guy's I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. dbinom(10,1,0.25) I am using dbinom(10,1,0.25) to calculate the probabilty of 10 judges choosing a certain brand x times. I was wondering how I would go about simulating 1000 trials of each x value ? regards Brendan -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Binomial-simulation-tp23106347p23106347.html Sent from the R help mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

p-values
HI R-users, I am trying to repeat an example from Rayner and Best "A contingency table approach to nonparametric testing (Chapter 7, Ice cream example). In their book they calculate Durbin's statistic, D1, a dispersion statistics, D2, and a residual. P-values for each statistic is calculated from a chi-square distribution and also Monte Carlo p-values. I have found similar p-values

WAN setup over frame relay 7 locations
Hi - I have shorewall-1.3.8-1 on a RH 7.3 machine that acts as a firewall for my network. It was running the other day just fine, but today I have problems getting to the firewall. It is a frame-relay network with Cisco routers. Everything is 192.168.x.x / 24. I can''t ping the firewall from the WAN, but can from the main LAN. Sounds like a routing issue to me, but it was working for

panic in e100_exec_cb()
With today''s build, my domain 0 crashes during boot when it tries to bring eth0 up (it''s an E100). cb->prev (eax) is NULL in e100_exec_cb() (e100.c:827). Just from code inspection, I don''t see how this can be. e100_alloc_cbs() was just called, which looks like it should have correctly linked up all the cb->prev/cb->next pointers. It happens regardless of
