shrout & fleiss ICC´s with varying numbers of judges
Win7, R2.11.0
I am working on a report together with several co-authors. The data
concern several performance measures on a set of groups. These measures
are scored by external judges. We report findings on several datasets,
including several of the 6 ICC's discussed by Shrout & Fleiss (1979). We
determine these using the icc function from the irr package. We have
also used the ICC function from the psych package.
However, one of the datasets has varying numbers of jud...

Is there a way by which I can do form validation for form generated by In
Place Editting of scritaculous?
The reason is, I want to avoid server roundtrip for checks which I can
perform at browser.

3 questions about the poisson regression of contingency table
...derstand "zero-inflated"?
For instance:
area nation frequency
1 1 10
1 2 0
1 3 0
1 4 0
2 1 20
2 2 0
2 3 0
2 4 5
3 1 15
3 2 6
3 3 20
3 4 0
Since most of the frequencies(6/12) are zero,so I can simply consider the
dataset is "zero-inflated"?
In other words, can I judge the dataset is "zero-inflated" simply by the
proportion of "zero frequency"?
Or,how to judge whether the dataset is "zero-inflated" or not?
Q3¡¢How to understand "over-dispersion"?
For instance:
area nation frequency
1 1 10
1 2 0
1 3 0
1 4 0
2 1 2...

select most frequent value in set of variables
Hi,
I would like to select the most frequent value level in a set of three variables.
Three different observators have judged hair color in study subjects. Mostly they judge the same color, sometimes there is a slight difference. I want to know what most of the observators have chosen (so at least 2) from the 3 observations. E.g. If two out of three observators decide the hair is black, then it's likely not to be bro...

USING MULTILEVEL PACKAGE AND WABA FUNCTION
Dear friends,
this time I have a problem with using waba function. Firstly, I'll explain you my situation.
In the survey a gruop of supervisors judge the dipendents of a company.
One supervisor reported on more than one subordinate.
Thus, I need to show that lack of independence is not a problem, and a reviewer told me to use WABA.
The question is, how? In which way i can build my X and Y? I've understand that i need a variable group (supe...

Hi Rusers,

Here is the example.

Binomial simulation
Hi Guy's
I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction.
dbinom(10,1,0.25)
I am using dbinom(10,1,0.25) to calculate the probabilty of 10 judges
choosing a certain brand x times.
I was wondering how I would go about simulating 1000 trials of each x value
?
regards
Brendan

p-values
HI R-users,
I am trying to repeat an example from Rayner and Best "A contingency
table approach to nonparametric testing (Chapter 7, Ice cream example).
In their book they calculate Durbin's statistic, D1, a dispersion
statistics, D2, and a residual. P-values for each statistic is
calculated from a chi-square distribution and also Monte Carlo p-values.
I have found similar p-values
