The weirdest yp directory listing problem
...s not have this problem, it reflects the settings in my ices config file, www.bemetal.com shows up as www.bemetal.com. How could this be right while the yp listings are wrong? Oh yeah, and I even tried upgrading my ices to Beta4, still no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Engelmann AudioJack
Recently I've started to see quite a few clients connecting with Engelmann AudioJack ('Engelmann Media Radio Listener' is the browser ID): http://www.audiojack.org/?file=Index&lang=english Anybody else seeing quite a few of these clients all of a sudden? Samba BDC in a subnet of a Windows NT4.0 domain?
Hi, I've been playing with samba/the idea of Samba as a server for a remote location on our network. How we're setup right now is this: Windows NT 4.0 PDC/BDC/Member Server (hosting Exchange server). samba and winbind group ID?
Using samba 2.2.7a with Winbind on a Redhat 8.0 machine - when I login locally with a domain username and password I get this message: "id: cannot find name for group ID 10000" -I seem to have full access to everything, so I'm not sure what effect this actually has - Ideas? Also, I'm trying to create some samba shares with NT domain group permissions. in the placeholder file

Samba with winbind setup but some glitches
