Revision 3637 killed support for models in modules?
...rsists up
until and including the latest revision (3801 at the time of this
writing).
Did some behaviour change drastically at revision 3637? Am I supposed
to change anything about my models to have them work with revisions
past 3636?

have two versions of ruby play nice on the same box?
...d to have both Ruby 1.8.2 and 1.8.4 on the same server (it''s Free
BSD, development machine is Mac OS X) and they said on IRC that this
probably _would_ yield some problems. Could someone please outline how
to have multiple versions of Ruby play nice on the same server?

web service API and caching
...a, and
if so how did you go about doing that, what did you learn (how/when to
update the cache, any problems that might arise), and so forth? NOTE:
Not necessarily limited to Campaign Monitor, but any web service/REST
API which results needs to be or benefits from being cached.

Family Connection 0.9
Family Connection is an easy-to-setup online hub for your family that
includes a Family News section, and an Address Book. Currently,
there is no documentation on installing the Rails application itself
(hence the 0.9 version number).
Once installed, Family Connection guides the family website
administrator through a simple two-page setup process. The web
application restricts access

Respect and Disappointment
I''ve finally started a blog. I really didn''t want to go public with it
until I was sure I keep it up, but DHH posted a entry to his blog that I
feel compelled to comment on.
You can read about it on my blog:

Why Wouldn't I Use Rails
I am starting a large project and still selecting what
framework to use.
Rather than ask brand x what is wrong with brand y, I am
more interested in self confession.
Why would I *not* want to use Rails (compared to Iowa and Nitro).
I posted a synopsis of the project to ruby-talk but will repost
it here if anyone wants it.

PROPOSAL: The list needs to fork (desperately).
I''d like to propsoe that the RubyOnRails mailing list forks into three
lists.
PROBLEM:
* The list is getting swamped with traffic, making it hard to use and
even harder to follow.
* Many, many messages get lost, with no reply.
* Due to the overwhelming traffic, it''s hard for beginners to get the
help that they need, since their messages get lost in the shuffle, and
