Hi all... I need to make a few queries to WINS, but am unsure how to do so. 'nmblookup' will allow me to enter an IP address and get information about the machine name, domain, and username. I want to do the opposite...I would like to have a tool that will take a username and return the IP address. I know this information is stored in WINS somehow, and I am capable of writing some Perl

I have a Win95 machine that I am trying to connect to a Samba share. When I log in as administrator, I can connect to any and all samba shares just fine. When I log onto the PC as a normal user, it asks for a password and rejects them all. The logs say "server xyz rejected password" for each of these attempts. I am an newby to samba, and I have a user who is getting permission denied when he attempts to copy files from his PC to his UNIX account.
